The Pharmacy Manager will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical services, particularly in pediatrics and acute care settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
  2. Oversee medication administration processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing medications.
  3. Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans that include appropriate medication therapies.
  4. Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and manage ordering processes to ensure adequate stock levels.
  5. Provide education and counseling to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
  6. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures related to pharmacy operations.
  7. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in pharmaceuticals to enhance patient care.
Requirements:
  1. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  2. Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
  3. Experience in a hospital setting, particularly in pediatrics or acute care preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols.
  5. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members.
  6. Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  7. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and improving health outcomes.

This position is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of pharmaceutical services within our facility, ensuring that all patients receive safe and effective medication therapy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay: Bonus pay, Overtime pay
