Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Coach to support and mentor learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs, disabilities, learning difficulties, or medical conditions. As a Learning Coach, you will play a vital role in enabling learners to successfully complete their qualifications, courses, and education, health, and care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and mentor learners with diverse needs, providing individualized guidance and encouragement.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Assist learners with ESOL, English, and Maths support needs, promoting academic success and confidence.
- Communicate effectively with learners, parents, and colleagues, maintaining high-quality records of learner progress.
- Set and achieve smart targets based on EHCP outcomes, support plans, and coursework.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate initiative, organization, and prioritization skills, with excellent communication and administration abilities.
- Good computer skills, with experience in maintaining high-quality written records and setting targets.
- Willingness to achieve a GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent in English and Mathematics (if not already held).
