We are seeking a skilled Buyer to contribute to an onshore construction initiative. This position is pivotal in preparing and negotiating significant packages for Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) of onshore ventures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, assess, and negotiate substantial subcontracts and purchase orders for onshore EPCI initiatives.
  • Assist the Commercial department by sourcing quotes and issuing preliminary agreements.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Evaluate variation order requests from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring pricing consistency and adherence to contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with team members on procurement requests and keep them informed about developments related to managed packages.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, corporate policies, and established procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in procurement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating high-value subcontracts and purchase orders within the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficient in SAP for processing subcontracts and purchase orders.
  • Membership in a Purchasing Institute is advantageous but not mandatory.
