We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Health Visitor SCPHN Student. As a Health Visitor SCPHN Student, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver health visiting services to children and families in our community
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Conduct home visits and assessments to identify health needs and develop care plans
- Provide education and support to families on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Current NMC Registration for nursing or midwifery
- DipHE (or above) qualification equivalent to 120 credits at level 5 (of the Higher Education Credit Framework for England)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Literacy and Numeracy at the level of the National Qualifications Framework at level 1-2 for Numeracy (equivalent of GCSE) and 3-4 for Literacy (equivalent of A level)
- Knowledge of the Public Health role of contemporary health visiting & working in community settings
- Knowledge of local and national policies which influence the provision of health visiting
- Current knowledge of safeguarding issues
- Knowledge of quality issues, the audit process and clinical governance
- Experience of working within multidisciplinary teams
- Evidence of involvement in the management of difficult situations and conflict resolution
