About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Parkside, a detached bungalow with four residents. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with their daily routines, including personal care, medication, and meal preparation
  • Encourage and facilitate social activities, such as arts and crafts, themed meal nights, and outings
  • Assist with mobility and positioning, using equipment and techniques as needed
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements
  • Patience and empathy in working with individuals with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and flexibility in scheduling
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols
