About the Role:

TRM-International is seeking a highly skilled Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our enterprise data platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses to support business intelligence and analytical tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines originating from diverse data sources, intended for consumption by various systems and users.
  • Work closely with business IT teams, data scientists, and external providers to deploy, automate, and monitor data processing, machine learning pipelines, and web applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data infrastructure and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to our data infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, data engineering, and related technologies.
  • Experience with technologies such as Apache, Docker, Parquet, Python, Spark, Airbyte, and Airflow.
  • Detailed understanding of Linux OS's.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data lakes, data warehouses, relational databases, and applications running on Docker.
  • Experience with data storage solutions such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or S3.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
