Job Summary:

The post holder will actively contribute to the delivery of high-quality Anaesthetic services within the directorate of Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This will involve participating in the out-of-hours rota and maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the delivery of Anaesthetic services across all three sites of the Trust.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours rota, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Maintain a high standard of clinical governance and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' Specialty training in Anaesthetics or equivalent experience and competencies.
  • Full GMC registration is essential.
  • Desirable: further experience and training in Obstetric Anaesthesia.
