We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic services and contributing to the development of our anaesthetic department.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the delivery of the anaesthetic service within the directorate, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.
- Participate in the out-of-hours rota, providing cover for anaesthetic services across all three sites.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a Licence to Practice.
- At least five years postgraduate experience in specialty training in Anaesthetics or equivalent.
- General medical experience equivalent to UK Foundation Training.
- Final FRCA or equivalent qualification.
- FRCA level or actively approaching this.
- Evidence of relevant Continuing Medical Education (CME) or Continuing Professional Development (CPD) from previous two years.
- Computer skills, including word processing and database use.
- Membership of professional societies.
