Patient Safety Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Factors Specialist to join our team at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Patient Safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the safest and highest quality care possible.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on human factors and ergonomics to our clinical teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the investigation and analysis of patient safety incidents, identifying root causes and developing recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement human factors and ergonomics strategies to improve patient safety and reduce the risk of adverse events.
- Collaborate with our clinical teams to design and implement safe and effective systems, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and education to our staff on human factors and ergonomics principles and practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our Trust's patient safety strategy and quality improvement initiatives.
