Patient Catering Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Patient Catering Supervisor to join our team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeepers and ensuring the smooth provision of food and drink services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Catering: Ensure the provision of high-quality food and drink services to our patients, with a focus on food safety and hygiene.
- Communication and Customer Service: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, guests, clinical staff, and work colleagues, providing high standards of customer service.
- Audits and Monitoring: Monitor and maintain food hygiene, health, and safety policies, and provide support for the housekeeping team to ensure compliance.
- People Management: Effectively line manage a team of housekeepers, providing daily assistance, training, rostering, appraisals, and career development opportunities.
- Essential: Level 3 Food Safety Management, HACCP Knowledge, and Advanced Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety Standards, HACCP, Allergens, COSHH, and Infection Prevention strategies.
