Our organization, HelloKindred, is in search of a dedicated and proficient Recruiter to join the Experience and Assessments Hub. This position is pivotal in upholding the exceptional standards of the Early Talent assessment process for graduates, interns, and apprenticeship candidates. The ideal candidate will serve as an Interviewing Subject Matter Expert (SME), conducting a significant number of interviews while ensuring quality, consistency, and fairness in alignment with the Early Talent Assessment model, all while providing an outstanding candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Interviewing Duties

  • Conduct a high volume of in-person final interviews during peak recruitment periods.
  • Provide support and guidance to interviewing managers.
  • Welcome candidates and assist the Interview Coordinator as necessary.
  • Support candidates in their preparation for each recruitment stage through Q&A sessions and various communication methods.
  • Conduct second-stage virtual interviews using the recruitment platform, including scoring and feedback creation.
  • Communicate interview outcomes to candidates and provide verbal feedback upon request.
  • Manage a busy candidate inbox, addressing queries and ensuring any requested interview adjustments are implemented.

Candidate Management and Experience

  • Oversee the Applicant Tracking System to ensure timely screening and progression of candidates through the recruitment pipeline.
  • Act as the steward of the candidate assessment journey, orchestrating touchpoints that create a lasting positive impression. From application to offer stage, commitment to empathy, transparency, and communication will help candidates navigate the recruitment process with confidence.
  • Ensure fairness and consistency for all candidates while being mindful of diversity targets and local demands.
  • Stay informed about business updates and external changes that may affect recruitment.
  • Manage digital communication platforms to connect with candidates and enhance their experience.
  • Assist with candidate calls as needed, such as start date confirmations and updates.
  • Continuously improve and develop all candidate communications.

Reporting Responsibilities

  • Utilize data from the candidate ATS and digital platforms to generate insightful reports that support decision-making processes.

Additional Duties

  • Provide support to team members with ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in high-volume interviewing is essential; a background in Occupational Psychology is advantageous.
  • Experience in training interviewers is required.
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment and understanding of the graduate recruitment market is essential.
  • Knowledge of ethical interview practices and the Equality Act is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a diverse audience from apprentices to senior leadership.
  • Ability to quickly learn new information and technologies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
