About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Department at Futures. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily plant inspections and monitor plant performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Respond promptly to plant stoppages and implement modifications to new and existing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Perform fault-finding diagnosis and repairs on equipment and plant to maintain optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to achieve budgeted machine performance targets.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Time served as an apprentice in an engineering discipline, holding a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Multi Skilled Engineering HND / HNC / BTech / ONC / C&G Level 3 qualification or higher.
  • Previous experience working within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
