Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve maintenance-related issues and ensure minimal disruption to production schedules.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance technologies and techniques to ensure our equipment and processes remain efficient and effective.
- Time-served apprenticeship with practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum C&G craft qualification - mechanical or mechanical/electric.
- PC literate and proficient in PLC and Pneumatics control systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts and cover overtime when required.
