About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cargo Account Handler to join our client's thriving Marine Cargo Division. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for working closely with Brokers to assist with the placement of complex Marine Cargo Risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Brokers to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Produce timely and accurate Marine Cargo Risk Certificates (MRCs) and endorsements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and markets
  • Assist with the development of new business and the existing portfolio of clients
  • Negotiate and liaise with Underwriters to secure optimal terms and conditions
  • Identify and pursue renewal opportunities with Brokers and clients

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

2 years of experience working in a technical position within a Lloyd's BrokerExtensive knowledge of Marine Cargo insurance and/or reinsuranceStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team
