Key Responsibilities- Provide HSSEQ Subject Matter Expertise: Offer guidance and support to site leadership on HSSEQ matters, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Effective Risk Controls: Develop and implement adequate and effective HSSEQ risk controls and procedures to mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Manage HSSEQ Improvement Actions: Oversee the quality and timeliness of site HSSEQ improvement actions, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to address identified risks and hazards.
- Investigate and Report Hazards and Incidents: Accurately and timely report, manage, and investigate hazards, near misses, and incidents, ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and Support HSSEQ Training: Collaborate with site leadership to develop and deliver HSSEQ training and communication programs, promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring that all employees are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining a safe working environment.
- Verify Emergency Preparedness: Oversee the verification of adequate emergency preparedness levels, ensuring that all necessary procedures and protocols are in place to respond to emergencies.
- Drive a Strong Safety Culture: Foster a strong safety culture through active HSSEQ governance, consultation, and engagement, promoting a culture of safety and well-being among all employees.
- Competitive Salary: A salary of £41,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
