Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controls Specialist to lead the controls stream on Business and IT-led projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in audit and controls testing, with a proven track record of identifying and mitigating financial risks.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the controls stream on Business and IT-led projects, ensuring effective implementation of financial controls and risk management strategies.
- Support the end-to-end internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR) programme, documenting key financial processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of audit experience, preferably with a focus on controls testing.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
