Do you possess the skills to address challenging behaviours and assist students in reaching their utmost potential? We are in search of devoted Support Specialists to collaborate in both special educational needs (SEN) and mainstream educational settings.

As a Support Specialist, your contribution will be crucial in delivering personalized and small group assistance to students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

  • Implement behaviour management techniques and interventions to aid students facing behavioural challenges.
  • Offer tailored support to help students manage their emotions and cultivate effective coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with educators, SEN Coordinators, and other professionals to develop and execute individualized behaviour plans.
  • Provide emotional and pastoral support.
  • Encourage a secure and inclusive educational atmosphere where every student feels appreciated and supported.

Prior experience working with young individuals with SEN and handling challenging behaviours is highly advantageous.
Essential qualities include patience, resilience, and a sincere dedication to fostering the social, emotional, and academic growth of students with SEN.
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or a willingness to apply is required. Competitive remuneration and adaptable working hours are offered.
