Position Overview:

As a Nuclear Safety Case Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of nuclear operations. This position is suitable for experienced professionals at the Senior or Principal level.

Role Highlights:

We are looking for enthusiastic and skilled Nuclear Safety Case Specialists with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our expanding team. The successful candidates will contribute to significant projects within the nuclear sector, both domestically and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop major safety cases by authoring, verifying, and managing safety case documentation.
- Conduct hazard identification and assessments, including HAZANs, and perform both deterministic and quantitative assessments.
- Execute radiological and conventional safety evaluations.
- Undertake specialized assessments to bolster the safety case.
- Formulate safety case strategies and key arguments.
- Mentor junior assessors in producing safety case documentation and utilizing safety assessment tools.
- Oversee project delivery in a consultancy setting, managing contracts and proposals for new work.
- Cultivate client relationships and manage resources to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Essential Qualifications:

- Proven experience in applying risk management principles and delivering safety case documentation in the nuclear sector.
- A commitment to ensuring successful outcomes and maintaining client satisfaction through practical solutions.
- Ability to comprehend complex issues swiftly and apply expertise effectively throughout various stages of the nuclear plant lifecycle, including decommissioning.
- Proficient in managing stakeholder interfaces.
