Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Childrens Care Worker to join our team at The Shires - Stretton. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and facilitate residents' participation in activities, outings, and educational programs.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in childcare, youth work, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.
