Mechanical Project Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in the Rochester area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical project engineering and experience working on projects within the water industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with project management and coordination
- Develop and implement project plans and schedules
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Collaborate with site management to ensure design and procurement are aligned with project requirements
- Prepare and review construction completion and take-over documentation
- Coordinate technical aspects of the project
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary
- Work closely with the Project Quantity Surveyor to develop cost plans and manage project finances
- Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the water industry
- Knowledge of NEC3 contract forms and experience in delivering projects using this form of contract
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline
- APMP or equivalent certification is desirable
- Previous experience in water treatment (non-infrastructure) and mechanical project engineering is preferred
