About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stage Manager to join our team at Butlin's. As a key member of our entertainment leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our shows and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and supporting the technical team to ensure the smooth running of day/evening entertainments
  • Creating and providing detailed show reports to inform future productions
  • Developing and implementing stage plans and schedules to support the technical support team
  • Liaising with all parties involved in the production and entertainment leadership team to ensure seamless communication
  • Acting as security personnel to safeguard equipment and performers
  • Ensuring the correct storage and regular maintenance of scenery and scenic properties
  • Adhering to and implementing health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Ensuring all shows are consistently delivered to a high standard

About You

We are looking for someone with proven experience within the entertainments industry, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in stage management and leadership. You will have knowledge of technical procedures and systems, as well as experience of managing a team. Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving attitude are essential, as is the ability to work to deadlines and be flexible and enthusiastic in your approach.
