Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer with expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance to join our team at Concept Technical Resources. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and building systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including plant equipment and building systems.
  • Conduct electrical installations and maintenance to the latest regulations in a fast-paced factory environment.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of key automated manufacturing plant equipment.
  • Implement, document, and report routine maintenance schedules for plant and machinery using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Assist all trades within the facility and complete mechanical repairs as required.
  • Complete reactive work orders within time parameters.
  • Proactively identify and resolve maintenance-related issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think objectively.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives and their associated motors or pumps.
  • PLC fault-finding skills, with the ability to function as a go-to expert for all electrical controls matters.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Strong practical maintenance background, with experience in an automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • 18th Edition Qualification.
  • Qualified to City & Guilds (Level 3) in an electrical/mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience from an automated, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of high-temperature ovens and blow molders.
