About Us

Henry Martin Group is a leading provider of high-quality residential developments that create vibrant communities in London. We are currently embarking on an exciting new build residential scheme and are looking for a dedicated Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team.

The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of our new build residential project. You will be responsible for ensuring that engineering principles are adhered to throughout the development process, from conception to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a landmark project that will contribute to the revitalization of the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering design and development process for the new residential scheme.
  • Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Rebar checks and site inspections.
  • Oversee site engineers and conduct site assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
  • Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver the project on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction projects, with a focus on new builds.
  • Chartered Engineer status (MRICS, MICE, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, building regulations, and construction methods.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Proficient in relevant software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
