Job Title: PMLD Learning Support Specialist

Location:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a PMLD Learning Support Specialist, you will work with students who have profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties.

About the Role:

- Foster a nurturing environment to promote effective social, emotional, and educational development.

- Collaborate with classroom teachers to devise and deliver person-centered learning and care plans.

- Monitor and record student progress, reporting to the school's SEN team and meeting targets.

Requirements:

- Ability to work efficiently in a team and have a resilient mindset.

- Compassion and patience when working with children with SEND.

- Confidence to take initiative and lead learning activities.

- Previous experience in dealing with young people with different SEND is preferable.
