Key Responsibilities- Supporting Children with PMLD and SEN: Provide individualized support to children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
- Collaborating with Teachers: Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive.
- Personal Care and Support: Assist colleagues in providing personal care and support to children, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Foster effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach to supporting children's needs.
- Safeguarding and Wellbeing: Adhere to NYKays Ltd's safeguarding policies, prioritizing the wellbeing and safety of children and staff.
- Experience in Supporting Children with PMLD and SEN: Demonstrate a proven track record of supporting children with profound and multiple learning difficulties, either individually or as part of a team.
- Special Needs Teaching Assistant Experience: Possess experience working as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, with a minimum of 3 months' experience in a similar role.
- Commitment to Inclusive Education: Show a strong commitment to inclusive education, with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to respond to changing needs and priorities.
