Job Title: PMLD Learning Support Specialist

Location:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a PMLD Learning Support Specialist. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral, emotional, and social difficulties.

About the Role:

- Foster a nurturing environment to promote effective social, emotional, and educational development.

- Collaborate with classroom teachers to devise and deliver person-centered learning and care plans.

- Monitor and record student progress, reporting to the school's SEN team and meeting targets.

- Build strong relationships with students, providing emotional support and guidance.

Requirements:

- Ability to work efficiently in a team and have a resilient mindset.

- Compassion, patience, and confidence when working with children with SEND.

- Previous experience in dealing with young people with different SEND is preferable.

- Availability to start immediately.

- Qualification in Team Teach is ideal but not essential.
