We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commissioning Officer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end strategic delivery of integrated commissioning, transformation, and service improvement activity programmes/projects across the London Borough and NHS Bromley Integrated Commissioning Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Commissioning: Plan, support, and deliver commissioning projects, leading the development and delivery of high-quality health and social care services, applying performance management and contract management.
  • Needs Assessment and Service Mapping: Gather and analyze a broad spectrum of information from various sources to inform assessment of needs in social care and health services, and to map the provision of services, providing the evidence base for strategic planning and service developments.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce written briefings and committee reports under the direction of the Head of Service and Senior Officers, and contribute to written reports to inform plans being developed by managers.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate the involvement of stakeholders, carers, and clients in the development of commissioning strategies, specifically but not exclusively in relation to the Integrated Community Equipment Service, to ensure that commissioning activity is robust, sustainable, and designed and delivered in accordance with needs.

  • Availability to work immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to work in the UK.
