About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist to lead our mental health and learning disabilities services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to our clinical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to a team of psychologists, clinical leads, and other mental health professionals.
  • Clinical Service Development: Develop and implement clinical services that meet the needs of our service users, including the development of new services and the improvement of existing ones.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that our services meet the highest standards of quality and safety, through the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for our staff, to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.
  • Collaboration and Partnership Working: Work closely with other organizations and stakeholders to develop and maintain partnerships that support the delivery of our services.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Experience: Have significant experience of working in mental health and learning disabilities services, including experience of leading and managing teams.
  • Skills: Have excellent leadership and management skills, as well as strong clinical and communication skills.
