Location: Randox Science Park, Antrim.

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

Role Overview:

The Vigilance Officer is tasked with overseeing the complete process of product recalls and preparing reports for regulatory authorities.

This dynamic position requires the development of a diverse skill set, including:

  • Coordinating and managing communication with external regulatory agencies regarding vigilance matters.
  • Drafting reports for both internal and external stakeholders concerning recalls and vigilance.
  • Engaging with Randox clients regarding vigilance inquiries.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure follow-up actions are executed.
  • Utilizing complaint management software to document and track vigilance data.
  • Conducting post-market surveillance activities.
Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to familiarize you with our procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential Criteria:

  • An Honours degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology, or a related Life Science discipline (2:1 or above).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with relevant directives and standards.
  • Prior experience in regulatory affairs.
  • Background in clinical diagnostics.
