Location: Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL. 

Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 08.40 to 17.20.

What does the Vigilance Officer role involve?

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recalls and submitting reports to competent authorities. This is an extremely varied role that will require you to develop a varied skillset, including:

• Responsible for coordinating and following up communication with external regulatory bodies regarding vigilance.
• Preparing reports for internal and external use relating to recalls and vigilance.
• Contacting Randox customers regarding vigilance queries.
• Co-ordinating with internal departments to gain the information required and ensure actions are followed up on.
• Use of the complaint handling software to record and monitor vigilance input.
• Conducting post market surveillance.

Full on the job training will be provided on our processes.

Who can apply?

Essential criteria:

• An Honours degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Immunology or a Life Science related discipline (2:1 or above). 
• Right to work in the UK.
• Good team working skills and attention to details

Desirable:

• Knowledge of relative directives and standards.
• Previous regulatory experience.
• Previous experience in clinical diagnostics.
