About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Surgical Ward Manager. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in the overall management of the ward, including the assessment of care needs, development of care plans, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Provide effective clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Ability to provide leadership and motivate staff
  • Able to understand the importance of and compliance to policies and procedures
  • Able to record information accurately and write reports
  • Able to prioritise clinical work
