Job Title: Deputy Surgical Ward Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Surgical Ward Manager. About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ward Manager in the day-to-day management of the ward, including the assessment of care needs, development of care plans, and evaluation of patient outcomes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality inpatient service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in the management of the ward, including the assessment of care needs and development of care plans.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high-quality inpatient service.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff, including clinical supervision and mentoring.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
