The Role
We are recruiting Classroom Assistants for our clients' schools. As a Classroom Assistant, you will be required to support children with special educational needs (SEND) in a classroom environment. Your role will involve providing exceptional support to SEND children both one-to-one and in groups, adapting teaching support according to students' needs, and promoting inclusion and acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to SEND children to help them thrive in the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support the development of inclusive learning environments that cater to diverse needs
- Work closely with teachers to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of SEND children
- Contribute to the creation of a positive and supportive classroom culture
Requirements
- Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred, though not essential
