Job Summary
The Credit Control Specialist will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a key role within our organization, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts, including order management and credit control
- Assess and respond to new credit requests
- Handle customer inquiries, secure remittance details, and reissue invoices/credit notes as necessary
- Maintain regular customer contact and process card payments
- Post customer payments to the CRM
- Ensure customer accounts are kept up to date
- Look for opportunities and risks within customer accounts
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Confident in handling phone-based interactions
- Accurate with a keen eye for detail
- Confident working with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Strong numerical and negotiation abilities
- Sound judgment and intuitive decision-making skills
