Job Title: Stock Controller

Focus Resourcing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at Glenfield Hospital. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stock and consumables on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the inventory of consumables, including ordering, receiving, and storing stock.
  • Source non-stock products as required by the location and add or amend product details on the computer system.
  • Set up inventory parameters to enable requisitions or direct ordering and manage automatic and manual orders.
  • Manage requisitions, including non-stock, raise and enter Purchase orders, and expedite orders with suppliers.
  • Accept delivery, decant, and manage reversals, including over/under deliveries and damages.
  • Manage the receipt of products for trials, loan equipment, and other purposes after Consumables Group approval.
  • Manage quarantine of product/product recalls/shelf life expiry/loss management and physical returns.
  • Undertake cyclical and annual stock takes/reconciliation.
Requirements:
  • Clinical experience or experience working with stock control and consumables.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with doctors and work independently.
  • Ability to work using own initiative and manage multiple tasks.
