Join Our Team as a Head of Quality of Biologicals

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Authorisations Group as a Head of Quality of Biologicals. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment of quality requirements for marketing authorisations of biological/immunological veterinary medicinal products.
  • Manage and develop a team of assessors to ensure the quality and consistency of assessments.
  • Develop and implement national and international regulatory policies and guidelines for veterinary medicines.
  • Provide scientific and regulatory advice to applicants and stakeholders.
  • Lead on VMD's global cooperation initiatives in regulatory affairs and work-sharing across regulatory jurisdictions.
