Job Title: Contract Customer Operations Manager

At Jungheinrich UK Ltd, we are seeking a highly skilled Contract Customer Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer contracts, ensuring timely delivery of services, and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. You will work closely with our Senior Management Team to develop and implement strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control contract performance to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop strategies to drive business success
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and suites to track contract performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Proactively identify and suggest plans to minimize loss-making business or further improve profitable contracts
  • Remove siloed thinking and promote a company-wide financial picture
  • Research and recommend the best possible financial solutions for both Jungheinrich and the customer
  • Work with a proactive, consultative approach to customers to be seen as a trusted advisor
  • Improve customer utilization of fleet, address excess hours, and limit end-of-contract exposure
  • Implement and deliver a customer service strategy that delivers financial and customer service expectations and objectives
  • Be a key driver in delivering the best levels of customer service to our customers
  • Optimize performance and results through regular review of available data and metrics
  • Maximize all service sales opportunities, including but not limited to service market share

Requirements:

  • Experience within the intralogistics and materials handling equipment sector is required for this position
  • Someone who can demonstrate prior customer account experience
  • IT literate, in particular Microsoft Office
  • A self-starter with strong time management
  • This role will be based in the UK and travel as and when required
  • Full valid current driving license
  • Management skills and experience of delivering required targets and objectives
  • Analysis / Business Acumen / Customer Orientation
