Cost Controller Opportunity at Wood

Wood is seeking a skilled Cost Controller to join our team in the UK. As a Cost Controller, you will play a crucial role in preparing and reporting on project cost budgets, tracking and managing project expenditure, and ensuring robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and report on project cost budgets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual requirements and company policies.
  • Track and manage project expenditure, identifying areas for cost optimization and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Support senior members of the cost team in the preparation and reporting of project cost budgets.
  • Review and analyze actual and forecasted project costs against approved budgets.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant cost experience.
  • Basic knowledge of cost software and related principles, tools, and techniques.
  • A degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent gained through relevant vocational training and/or industry experience).
