Overview:

As an integral member of the Direct to Consumer (DTC) team, you will be responsible for strategizing and implementing marketing initiatives across the email domain. Your role will also encompass supporting the affiliate channel to enhance traffic to our European Home Fragrance DTC platforms. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, thriving in a dynamic environment where both proactive and reactive strategies are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive email marketing calendar in collaboration with the eCommerce & CRM Manager and Digital Designer, which includes daily marketing communications, behavioral journeys, and transactional emails.
  • Oversee the creative briefing process, including copywriting responsibilities.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of marketing emails utilizing Salesforce.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing emails.
  • Ensure transactional emails are updated based on received feedback.
  • Manage the customer journey email experiences.
  • Maintain and engage the CRM database.
  • Execute affiliate marketing activities in partnership with our affiliate agency.
  • Develop affiliate plans considering year-over-year activities and peak seasons.
  • Utilize data to identify and implement incremental opportunities.
  • Ensure campaigns adhere to budgetary constraints, focusing on expenditure, revenue, and return on investment.
  • Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports on email marketing and affiliate initiatives.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships internally and externally with various departments and agencies.
  • Manage the purchase order process for the affiliate channel, ensuring timely payments.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in eCommerce, ideally within a marketing capacity in the FMCG sector.
  • Previous exposure to email marketing, including familiarity with email service providers (Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar) or affiliate marketing.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment within a complex organization.
  • Strong data reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing complex situations.
  • Strong project management, tracking, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in an additional language (preferably French or German).
