Job Title: Sales Manager – China Airlines

As a key member of the AVIAREPS team, you will be responsible for representing China Airlines professionally to travel trade partners and commercial companies in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Boost revenue and market share for the airline's routes through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Manage existing accounts and acquire new ones to increase brand awareness among trade and public sectors.
  • Collaborate effectively with the China Airlines Country Manager to achieve sales targets.
  • Lead and motivate a small Reservations/Sales team to drive sales performance.
  • Analyze revenue data and generate statistical reports to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Recommend commercial terms and fare structures to secure new business.
  • Represent the airline at trade shows and exhibitions to promote the brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback to China Airlines and the Head of Sales.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior sales role, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Experience in travel industry account management and familiarity with airline GDS, distribution channels, and fare structures.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as strong numeric and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of airline procedures, fare rules, and ticketing, as well as understanding of Revenue Management and Dashboard reports.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels, including China Airlines HQ, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
