Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Birmingham. As a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will provide a specialist Speech and Language Therapy service to adult patients in a range of community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a complex and diverse caseload independently, as related to communication and eating and drinking needs.
  • Transfer individual patients' ongoing care to other agencies as appropriate and ensure that the service provided is conducted in a professional, efficient and effective way.
  • Be a specialist resource of information for health and social care staff, patients, families, carers, and external agencies who may require advice and support and guidance in the management of a range of Neurological conditions.

Requirements:

  • Highly developed specialist practice underpinned by theoretical knowledge/neurological qualifications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 0830-1630 or 0900-1700.
