Kings Camps operates sports and activity day camps for children during school holidays, focusing on promoting physical activity, enjoyment, and learning.

Key Responsibilities

As a certified instructor (SEQ Level 2/STA Level 2), you will:
  • Conduct engaging swimming sessions lasting 30-45 minutes for mixed ability groups of children aged 5-17.
  • Prioritize child safety, supervising children during breaks and swimming activities.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and promptly document any incidents.
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and collaborate with a supportive team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience as a swim teacher.
  • Current SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification.
  • A valid Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ or NRASTC).
  • Experience working with children aged 5-17.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
  • Skills in planning and delivering dynamic swimming activities for various age groups.
