About the Role
In this role, you will report to the Camp Manager and collaborate with a swim instructor to oversee swimming sessions, with a maximum of 16 children per session, typically lasting between 30 to 45 minutes. Session timings and pool availability may vary, but sessions generally occur during weekdays.

Child safety is our utmost priority; therefore, you will ensure the welfare of children is paramount at all times, supervising all activities, managing equipment usage, and responding promptly to any incidents while adhering to reporting protocols.

As we are Ofsted registered, you will have the chance to observe our high standards in child care and well-being, gain first aid qualifications, engage with parents and guardians, and benefit from our leading training programs.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Current Lifeguard qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches (NRASTC)
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience as a Lifeguard
  • Ability to conduct a depth test at the venue
  • A strong passion for fostering children's water confidence
