Dental Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Consultant to join our team at King's College Hospital. As a key member of our Restorative Dentistry department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and leading a team of dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Clinical Leadership: You will be responsible for providing clinical supervision to junior medical/dental practitioners and contributing to the development of our Restorative Dentistry service.
- Develop and Implement Service Plans: You will work closely with our management team to develop and implement service plans, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Conduct Clinical Research: You will be expected to conduct clinical research and publish relevant review articles or case reports, contributing to the advancement of our field.
- Teach and Mentor: You will have the opportunity to teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, sharing your expertise and knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals.
- Manage and Lead: You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of dental professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
- Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery: You must hold a Fellowship in Dental Surgery or Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery or equivalent.
- Full Registration with the United Kingdom General Dental Council: You must be fully registered with the United Kingdom General Dental Council.
- Experience in Restorative Dentistry: You must have experience in Restorative Dentistry, including clinical research and teaching.
