Position Overview:
We are in search of a seasoned Global Business Unit Leader who will take charge of directing strategic marketing research initiatives for APLUSA's major clients, while also identifying avenues for new business development with these accounts. This role entails overseeing project teams to guarantee exceptional service delivery and the formulation of strategic insights aligned with the research and business goals established by APLUSA's clients. The Business Unit Leader will also be tasked with nurturing and expanding relationships with clients and contributing to the creation of proposals that address clients' ongoing insights requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Advocating for the company to prospective or current clients (through presentations, social media, etc.);
· Responding to requests for proposals;
· Crafting compelling business proposals; Persuading clients that our studies fulfill their needs and expectations;
· Overseeing both quantitative and qualitative research projects;
· Leading teams during the preparation of studies and making adjustments as necessary based on client feedback;
· Maintaining communication with clients throughout the research process to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of expected outcomes;
· Ensuring adherence to standards and processes during the execution of studies;
· Guiding study teams during the analysis and report writing phases;
· Enhancing project value by providing recommendations and insights through reports and presentations;
· Presenting findings to clients and assisting them in maximizing the value of their investments through discussions;
· Staying informed about market trends;
· Being proactive and continuously seeking to enhance APLUSA's offerings.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 10 years' experience in primary market research for healthcare manufacturers, with significant agency-side experience;
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree or equivalent experience preferred;
· Proficient in managing and selling qualitative and quantitative market research;
· Capability to sell and execute market research projects;
· Experience in conducting research in specialized therapeutic areas (oncology, immunology, infectious diseases, etc.);
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
