About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Hartford Care. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and their dignity is respected.
- Supervise and lead the care team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Conduct thorough handovers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist residents with daily activities, such as dressing and personal care.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behavior.
- Participate in care planning and implementation, ensuring resident-centered care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience as a Care Assistant in residential care.
- Completed an L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
