Job Summary:We are looking for an individual who can provide emotional support, advice, and guidance to clients in a face-to-face, telephone, and video setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing situations to determine risk and the needs of the individual, making decisions under pressure, and accurately recording new contacts and details of visits and calls on relevant electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver emotional support, advice, and guidance to clients in a face-to-face, telephone, and video setting.
- Assess situations to determine risk and the needs of the individual.
- Make decisions under pressure while communicating with the client.
- Accurately record new contacts and details of visits and calls on relevant electronic systems.
- Work in line with performance targets and key contractual requirements, providing data and case studies as requested.
- Advise and be actively involved in individual risk assessment and review.
- Develop and implement appropriate action plans and safety plans to meet individual needs.
- Encourage clients to recognize, understand, and manage factors that affect their mental wellbeing and physical health.
- Work with a range of partners and external agencies to meet individual needs and support with individual safety and delivery of the service.
- Work as a team member, sharing information and supporting colleagues, ensuring they have the knowledge, information, and resources to be successful in their roles and make a positive and valued contribution to the service.
- GCSEs in certain subjects, such as Maths, English, or Health and Social Care.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience working within Mental Health.
- Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Emotional maturity, compassion, and empathy.
- Ability to work flexibly and commit to working hours mentioned above.
At Service Care Solutions, we recognize increasing pressures on care staff, both work-based and financial, and want to help ease that burden.
- Pay: £18-£25 per hour.
- £250 Referral Bonus Paid after completion of 150 hours for any newly registered candidates who are referred over.
- £150 Job Referral Find your own job bonus - Receive £150 for bringing your own position to us, alternatively this also applies if you are not happy with your current agency but settled in your role we can pay £150 to switch.
- FREE Registration Process including Enhanced DBS Check, Occupational Health Appointments, Mandatory and Practical Training, Uniform.
- Dedicated and Experienced One-to-One Specialist Consultant.
- £250 Yearly CPD/Training Allowance/Registration Body Renewal.
