**Rethink Mental Illness are hiring a Support Worker/Mental Health Recovery Worker, to join our inspiring and friendly North Devon Supported Living Services & Community Outreach team.**

Part-time - 21 hours - Hours are negotiable - Weekdays only

North Devon Supported Living Services & Community Outreach are a mental health recovery service commissioned by Devon Partnership Trust NHS and Devon County Council. We offer supported living services and community outreach services to those affected by severe mental illness and provide recovery support to people with low to medium support needs, leaving a hospital or residential setting. We work closely with Service Users to ensure the support they receive is of the highest quality and is right for them. Where possible, we try to provide support at a time which best suits the needs of our Service Users. Rethink uses a “Recovery” model of support, encouraging people to manage and control their own recovery as much as possible. As a Mental Health Recovery Worker you will work alongside an individual’s clinical and social care teams, and oversee your key clients recovery with a person centred approach.

**As a Mental Health Recovery Worker** **you will**: offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.

**I will work with the following people and teams**
- Service Users
- Bank Support Workers / Support Workers
- Volunteers
- Team Leaders
- Service Manager

We offer the opportunity to visit the service to observe the work we do and talk about a day in the life of a Support Worker with the Service Manager - this gives you the opportunity to really explore the work we do as an organisation and insight of the work you will be part of.
