Care Support Worker

About the Role:
- We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Proud to Care Devon.
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As a Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to enable them to live independently. Your duties will include promoting independence, enabling daily living tasks, responding to emergencies, and performing domestic duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote independence and enable service users to undertake daily living tasks.
- Enable service users to do as much as possible themselves.
- Aiding with personal care such as dressing/undressing, bathing, eating, toileting/continence care, and nail care.
- Assisting service users with mobility such as turning and positioning in bed/chair and transferring.
- Maintain records and report any concerns to the appropriate person.
- Prepare and serve meals, and clean up after meals.
- Engage in social/recreational/leisure activities with service users.
Working Patterns:
The successful candidate will work 4 shifts per week, consisting of 2 days and 2 sleep-in shifts. Part-time shifts are also available. The salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer competitive benefits, including paid training and opportunities for career development.
