Position Overview:

The Client Relationship Manager is essential in fostering long-lasting partnerships with our customers and collaborating closely with our skilled sales and technical pre-sales teams. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing existing client accounts and exploring new market opportunities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee designated strategic accounts to achieve or surpass sales objectives.
  • Establish and nurture robust, long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Follow the Account Management process and governance framework diligently.
  • Report on progress against key initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and tenders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Enhance awareness of Sword Group's capabilities on a global scale.
  • Manage contracts and engage in effective negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business account management or sales within the industry.
  • Ability to formulate and implement complex sales and account development strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new client accounts.
  • History of managing large and intricate accounts as a trusted advisor.
  • Competence in collaborating across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong skills in relationship-building at various organizational levels.
  • Commercially oriented mindset with strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Goal-focused and driven by targets.
  • Understanding of contracts and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in the Energy sector and familiarity with selling IT services and consultancy in the UK is advantageous.
